the first thing that comes to mind is the story in the old testament about how the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle so much so that the priests were unable to do their tasks. sweet!
where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. This includes freedom from physical sickness, emotional and psychological illnesses, financial burdens, and circumstances. when God's people get together to worship and praise Him in purity, in spirit and in truth, with out whole hearts, corporately as one, there should be a dominoe effect of healing and freedom!
the goodness of God should so fill up His people that we can't help but overflow into the weekdays at work and school. people should recognize us as Christians by our love. we need to learn how to love our Christan brothers and sisters as well as everyone else we come in contact with in every area of our lives.
i also can't help but think of the passage in revelation that describes the prayers of the saints being put into a censer and being thrown down onto the earth by an angel of God which causes earthquakes and stuff. it seems like intercession and prayer go hand in hand with praise and worship. when God's people come together in His name, things on the Earth will change and align themselves with the things of Heaven.
